Still getting air in pump basket and gurgling in pipes. So I inspected the suction side pump union, and found a PVC cement glob on the union’s mating surface. Cleaned it off, and lubed the O-ring. I suspect the union will need to be replaced, as there appears to be gaps in the PVC cement where the union mates to the pipe.
