Running filter to raise pH without adding alkalinity with chemicals. Will likely do another add of muriatic acid tonight when shut filter down.

BackwashedCleaned Filter
32 oz of Liquid Chlorine • 12.5%
Start up continued: Had CJ turn the inlet clockwise so the incoming stream will point down into the pool rather than skimming across the surface where the patches are. I read somewhere this should help keep the bottom of the pool cleaner from debris and sediment.
Start up continued: pool water mostly clear with little leaf debris and dirt debris and sediment on bottom. Adding water from half this year. At about half of fill I added half a gallon of the pool shock since chlorine levels were zero. Water was getting a green hue to it after the cover was removed. We also dry patched with the flex tape repair kits the holes along the inlet side wall.

Opened PoolBrushed
Start up: Bought and used pool cover sump pump to remove water after snow melt and Spring rains. Leaves from fall, buds, and helicopter debris on pool cover. Sump worked for most part leaving mucky and stinky decaying leaf debris filled water. Had to use net to remove debris. Sump used to remove as much water. Rolled pool cover easily enough this year.
