I've had 4-5 tri-chlor pucks in a sock in skimmer basket most of today. FC and CYA going up steadily. I took out of sock and put direct in skimmer basket for overnight. Pump is running 24/7 so water shouldn't become overly acidic.

Can see the bottom now! Yesterday was quite cloudy and had a lot of white stuff forming on the top after chlorine topped up and 250ml of algaecide put in. I read and learned with SLAM it does not recommend algaecide.
